State Farm® grants and awards
With State Farm’s support, Habitat for Humanity International offers grants and awards to qualified affiliates, Youth United groups and campus chapters throughout the year.

Seventh annual national youth awards
Habitat affiliates and campus chapters are invited to apply. All deadlines are May 31, 2012.

  • Campus Chapter of the Year
    Recognizes a chapter that fulfills the four functions of a campus chapter and has shown outstanding performance in all aspects.
    Affiliates: nominate an outstanding campus chapter.
  • Youth United Building the Future Award
    Recognizes a Youth United group that fulfills the four goals of the Youth United program and has shown outstanding performance in all aspects.
    Affiliates and adult volunteers: nominate your outstanding Youth United group.
  • Collegiate Challenge Host Affiliate of the Year
    Recognizes the Habitat for Humanity Collegiate Challenge host affiliate that went above and beyond their obligations to provide an outstanding Collegiate Challenge experience.
    Summer 2011-Summer 2012 trip participants: nominate your Collegiate Challenge host affiliate.
  • The BuildLouder Youth Advocacy Award
    Recognizes the advocacy and policy change contributions of a campus chapter or Youth United group involved in advocacy work.
    Affiliates and student groups: nominate your campus chapter or Youth United group.

Grants

  • State Farm Disaster Service Grant 2012-2013
    State Farm’s Disaster Services Grant provides the opportunity for affiliates and youth to become engaged in the process of preparing and recovering from a disaster. Affiliates and youth groups can apply for $2,500 and $15,000 grants to be used for disaster training and response and recovery efforts. Application deadline: First-round grants due May 31. Grants will be awarded on a first come, first served basis through the end of 2012.

  • State Farm Campus Chapter Matching Grant 2012-2013
    State Farm is offering $10,000, $5,000 and $2,000 matching grants and a $1,000 bonus grant to Campus Chapters. These grants can be used for rehab and A Brush with Kindness projects, as well as house sponsorships. Application deadline: Oct. 1, 2012.

    Habitat for Humanity and State Farm are partnering to offer the Habitat Young Professional State Farm Matching Grants, including $5,000 and $15,000 matching grants. The grant can be used for rehab and A Brush with Kindness projects as well as house sponsorships. Application deadline: May 25, 2012.
