Habitat’s Learn and Build Experience

From domestic trips to international excursions, participants serve Habitat’s mission of providing decent, affordable housing across the globe.

Individual youths come together as a team to build with a Habitat affiliate outside of their area. In addition to building, students will take part in various hands-on educational and community activities.

The Learn and Build Experience is geared specifically toward individual applicants. We do not place participants who know each other on the same trip (don’t worry; you will make friends!)

Throughout the experience, participants build, learn and live together in a close community setting. Teamwork and leadership are found in all of our activities on and off the build site: from putting up walls to cooking nightly dinners, you can expect to grow close with your teammates.
