Become an RV Care-A-Vanner volunteer
There is no cost or commitment associated with becoming an RV Care-A-Vanner. To sign up for RV Care-A-Vanners building projects, you need to first register as a volunteer.

Check out current RV Care-A-Vanner builds online, and decide which project you are interested in helping. At the bottom of the project description page, click on the link that allows you to register as a volunteer for the build.

Train to be a team leader

Our most recent team leader training was a big success. Special thanks to Linda Walden and Lyn Laymon for conducting those trainings. We are in the process of reading evaluations to see how we can better serve you in the future. Please keep reading the monthly e-mail updates to see when and where the next training will be. Trained RV Care-A-Vanners may now use the build listings’ project descriptions to check a box to volunteer as team leader.

Donate your RV

Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity International headquarters

We welcome volunteers to spend a few weeks to a few months assisting at Habitat for Humanity’s headquarters in Americus, Georgia. To learn more about opportunities, visit the U.S. Volunteer Program page. This page lists some of the specific roles currently available; individuals may also apply to be part of the general volunteer pool.

If space is available, volunteers stay for free in the Habitat for Humanity International RV park, located a few blocks from our Americus headquarters.

Why volunteer with Habitat?

Habitat’s success can be traced to the dedication, determination and inspiration of its volunteers and partner families. Watch one of our recent videos, which highlight and celebrate our volunteers’ accomplishments over the years.
