Help Celebrate 25 Years of Building
Affiliates, volunteers, supporters and partner families from around the world are invited to celebrate Habitat for Humanity’s 25th anniversary in Indianapolis, Ind., during the week of Sept. 10–16, 2001. Through workshops, worship and social events, participants will reflect on what God has done through Habitat and strengthen their efforts to eliminate poverty housing. Children will have supervised activities, including day trips to local attractions.

Event Highlights:

• Sept. 13: Habitat Family Reunion at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway; dinner and keynote address by Jack Kemp, chairman of the “More Than Houses” campaign and former secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
• Sept. 14: Workshops, gala evening concert.
• Sept. 15: House dedication and closing evening program featuring Millard Fuller and former U.S. President Jimmy Carter.
