The situation is desperate.
The time to act is NOW.

Habitat for Humanity has put in place steps that will help hurricane victims reclaim some level of permanence, some measure of hope and stability, some notion of normalcy.

To that end, "Operation Home Delivery" will allow Habitat to:
  • Reinforce its affiliates in the region.

  • Serve as a recovery catalyst in the long term, uniting agencies in their assessment of and response to overall housing needs.

  • Work with affiliates and volunteers nationwide to assist in responding to the disaster and the thousands of affected families.

Summer and Fall hurricanes and subsequent flooding have devastated our neighbors along the Gulf Coast, stripping from them their loved ones, their pets, their possessions, their property, their places of business--and their homes.

Your financial contribution to Operation Home Delivery is vital. We can respond collectively, with a compassionate heart and a willing hand, and help overcome the calamity so forcefully visited upon Gulf Coast states.

To learn more about Operation Home delivery and how you can support Habitat's vision to help families throughout the Gulf region rebuild their homes and lives, visit www.habitat.org or call 1-800-HABITAT (422-4828). Please consider donating online through our secure web site. Thank you.
