FL, Ft. Lauderdale – Lead Carpenter

Habitat for Humanity of Broward County (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), a nonprofit housing ministry devoted to the elimination of poverty housing, is seeking a lead carpenter.

Responsibilities: The lead carpenter will be responsible for supervising the construction of Habitat for Humanity’s homes in Broward County.

This includes but is not limited to:

• The supervision and instruction of skilled and unskilled volunteers in the construction of affordable homes.

• This individual MUST be willing and able to be a WORKING carpenter when volunteers are not available.

• Management of construction site from vacant lot to C.O.

• Teamwork with construction team and administrative staff.

This is a full-time position with benefits, with a work week that takes place from Tuesday through Saturday (7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.). We are looking to fill this position within this quarter.
