What is HabitatLearns?
- A global learning portal offering online courses about Habitat’s mission.
- Specific topics include: The Beginnings of Habitat; Habitat’s Vision and Mission; Applying Mission Principles; Advocacy; Construction; Disaster Response; Family Services; Housing and Human Settlements; and more.
Do I need to register for HabitatLearns if I already have a My.Habitat account?
Who can use HabitatLearns?
- Anyone interested in Habitat’s mission to provide decent, simple affordable housing.
Are all HabitatLearns courses open to everyone?
- Most of the courses are open to everyone. The category heading for these courses will include the word (Open) in parenthesis.
- Due to licensing restrictions and costs that are absorbed by Habitat, courses in the (Restricted) categories are restricted to Habitat employees, affiliated organizations and national offices.
- AmeriCorps or VISTA members do not qualify for the (Restricted) categories of courses.
