Global Village offers you the opportunity to travel to another country to work hand-in-hand with people around the world to help build simple, decent homes.
You will build alongside homeowner families who invest their own labour into building their home and those of their neighbours.
With over forty countries involved in the Global Village programme, you can choose an exotic location near the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, along the coast of Mexico, or near the game reserves of Tanzania. Global Village also has locations closer to home from charming villages in Hungary and Romania to the historic city centres of Poland and Portugal.

…get a “backdoor” welcome into the local community
|
Global Village trips last one to three weeks. You will:
- Experience a new culture,
- Help others in need,
- Make friends,
- Visit places of interest, and
- Gain a new perspective on the world.
It takes enthusiasm and motivation to participate in a Global Village mission. No other skills are required!
