The best day yet -- Habitat for Humanity Int'l 1
June 8, 2006The best day yet
Everything accomplished the past few days paled in comparison to what occurred today. Princess Loftis and her family walked into their brand new completed home for the first time.
There are not words to accurately describe what it was like to watch her children sprint from room to room. It was quite a sight to see the children claiming their space in the home, doing summersaults in the living room, and checking out the faucet to make sure it worked.
Our production manager, Tim Sullivan, performed a walk-through with Princess. (Tim made sure to tell me that it was a zero punch item home.)
The children ran from room to room, nonstop for 30 minutes. What a great day to work for Ideal Homes. What a great day to be associated with Habitat for Humanity — an incredible organization with an incredible vision.
