Our blitz:
From May 31-June 7 six local builders will come together in Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County’s first Builder’s Blitz to build five homes in Forsyth County. These homes will be built in the Glenn Oaks neighborhood, which just over a year ago stood open and empty, but has since been developed as Habitat and other home builders started houses here. The partner families from these five homes will join 21 other Habitat families who have already or will soon move into their homes as well as other families who have recently settled in this newly revitalized neighborhood. Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County was founded in 1985, and our 250th home started this March.
