Expansion Goal: To Establish Habitat in 100 Countries

The expansion goal of the More Than Houses campaign was established in order to develop Habitat’s worldwide impact on poverty housing. The expansion goal was the first More Than Houses goal to be achieved.

The countries added during the More Than Houses campaign are:

With the addition of these countries, Habitat for Humanity achieved its goal of having a partnership program in place in 100 countries, a milestone in its work to eradicate poverty and substandard housing from the planet.

”The view, looking backward and forward, is remarkable,” said Rey Ramsey, former HFHI board chair, upon completion of the first goal. “We have gone places and done things few thought possible, are we are positioned for a dynamic future.”
